Thanks Adam!

I went to Office Max and bought a roll of 2,000 tickets, so we should be good to go.  We'll have to do the honor system with the tickets, but we'll tell people you can only win once...that usually keeps people from trying to get 2 or 3.  And, the volunteers are pretty good at policing themselves.  If they see someone win more than once, they'll call it out.

I agree, we'll need to start cooking early in order to keep up with demand...thanks for bringing your grill - we can definitely use more grill space...

The two we still need are:

1) Tinfoil pans to keep the cooked hot dogs in.

2) A box of "food handler" gloves - the disposable clear platic ones.

I need to go to the store tomorrow so I will pick these up unless somebody already has

Bajarack donated one of their 2 gas can mounts, I believe msrp around $100.  Can be bolted down to any flat surface, any aftermarket rack or any supported mount.

Left you a Voice mail marcus to see if you already got the pans/gloves. Give me a call when you can so we don't duplicate our efforts.

I'm going to get some onions to cut up and also bring some relish.

Thanks! Also to you Harry for scoring an awesome giveaway!

Sorry I missed your call. I have not got them yet I was going to this afternoon when I wake up. If you want to get them that is fine.
Sorry I didn't call you back I just need to get to bed(left for work at 2pm and just got home)

Not a problem Marcus! I was hoping my call wouldn't disturb you, sorry if it did.

I found the service tray with wire rack for the hotdogs to stay nice and cozy. Also got the gloves 100pk of large.

I'll get some onion. I was going to get relish, but all they had was a gallon of it! Way too much and we'll never use it all. If it doesn't cost too much, I'll get it at the store.

I'll only have room to bring one grill, but think we can manage if we start cooking early enough.

Adam
No it did not disturb me. Actually somehow your number was erased so when it rang I thought it was somebody at work so I didnt answer. Sorry
Well thanks for picking up the trays and stuff

Ted
Brittany got out of school early so we might be out there  around 5 also

Staging area UPDATE:  go past the fenced off pipeline then take the left fork.  Continue in a mile or so.  You'll see my truck, 3 dumpsters and 3 port-a-pottys

Wow!!!!!!!!!  It was a great day, and we collected a lot of trash!  I've heard estimates as high as 450 volunteers and we quickly filled the 3 dumpsters and collected enough for 2 or possibly 3 more.

BIG THANKS to all the AZXC folks who came out to help with the cleanup.

I could not have done this without you all.  Special thanks to Marcus and Brittany, Robert, Joe, John, Adam, Harry, and Gene.  Some of you camped out, some of you cooked, some took pictures/video, and all represented AZXC very well.

It was great to see Jason and Project X2 come out, as well as Mikhail, and Randy and Sheila.  In all AZXC had a great presence at the cleanup, and we were noticed by the rest of the offroad community.

THANKS SO MUCH to all who helped make this a very successful event!!!  Without you guys this would have been impossible to pull off.  Next time we go to Table Mesa, we need to wheel!

What a great night and day it was.......the amount of trash was staggering, but every volunteer had a smile on their face while they worked.

I applaud Ted for spearheading this clean-up almost single handedly.

I had a great time and will be working on uploading pics later today....

Now where is my ibuprophen...

ted posted the link to my gallery on the facebook site.  When I get home I will post images, close to 52, here as well.

Can we get a gallery on the Coppermine site set up?

I still have more to get through.  Wanted to get images of the trash for the BLM people to use.

I was bummed that no one covered the cleanup - even though I told channels 3, 5, 10, 12, 15, and Univision about it 2 weeks ahead of time...Instead they covered a local fat guy hamburger eating contest...LAME IMHO.
