  • downs44: Got an 06 that just went through SMOD. Got everything replaced. Now my low oil pressure light is flickering on after the engine warms up and the truck is at idle. Doing some digging on the forums it looks like a common problem is the rear timing cover gallery gasket leaking and causes the symptoms. Looks like a 15 hour or so repair for a $50 part. Was wondering if anyone else has had this issue and any words of advise. To save some dialogue, the oil pressure sensor is about a year old and I changed the oil and filter after i noticed the light and that did not fix the issue.

Marshall, I have never taken my dogs to Fat Tire, but my dogsitters (parents) will be in NY during Fat Tire.  I have no problem keeping my dog on a leash when she is outside of the vehicle (both on the trail and in camp).

If this is "no bueno", let me know, as I would have to sit this year out.

We're in the same boat, Ted.  :-\ As I read it, dogs are okay as long as everyone plays by the rules the event coordinators have communicated to us through Marshall.

I feel somewhat responsible for them being a bit concerned about dogs when our dumb /  blind old mutt Bean decided to wonder over and beg for food from the Marine Corps.  Bean is now 17 years old and very blind / deaf - not got many good years left in the old guy :(

I was quadding this weekend right in the area of the Start Camp, on the Wing Mountain turn off a few miles beyond Snow Bowl.  Right now the trails in the area are in good shape, they've had a little rain but not so much to turn everything into swamp.  We rode the Quads from about the area I believe the start camp is at, over to the Lava Cave, was a nice ride.

Hello All!

It's been a while, but I might just be coming out for this event! Some of you might still remember me ;) I got some weird squeaks that appeared over the weekend, but it should not stop me from showing up. Most likely it would be just Friday/Saturday. Anyways, hope to see you guys there!

I was just checking the weather forecast from www.intellicast.com for flagstaff and williams. Highs in the low to mid 70's, low's in the 50's. Scattered T-Storms 30-40% probable.

Sounds like this will be a wetter year w/no dust.  ;D

It was 35 degrees last year in the morning at start camp.  I'm bringing a jacket and a hat just in case...

^^^Ditto. It got pretty chilly last year at night and early morning. I'm looking forward to no dust for sure.  8)

Yes indeed Ted!

I am getting off work at 5 and knowing my slow poke ways, I'll be showing up pretty late. My fiance might join me too and then I'll leave Saturday evening, otherwise I'll stay until Sunday.

Rough estimate between AZXC and Swanky about 16 trucks going this year.
