  • PitSnipe (Kyle): Wow, I have not heard of this issue. 15 hour job for a $50 part is nuts. Hopefully someone that knows of this issue will speak up.

  • downs44: Got an 06 that just went through SMOD. Got everything replaced. Now my low oil pressure light is flickering on after the engine warms up and the truck is at idle. Doing some digging on the forums it looks like a common problem is the rear timing cover gallery gasket leaking and causes the symptoms. Looks like a 15 hour or so repair for a $50 part. Was wondering if anyone else has had this issue and any words of advise. To save some dialogue, the oil pressure sensor is about a year old and I changed the oil and filter after i noticed the light and that did not fix the issue.

I had a great time on the run.  In all, we had 11 trucks!  It was good to finally meet some of the Titan guys (from TitanTalk.com).  Also, we met up with the Land Rover club (they were running from Cave Creek to Table Mesa).

It was a relatively damage free day, except for one of the Titan's front swaybar, and my radiator (developed an active leak).  I'm sorry for having to bug out at the end of the day, but my coolant temp was rising fast.  I made it to Cave Creek and Tatum before I had to pull over to cool it down (and add more coolant).  Hopefully this is covered under the extended warranty.

I forgot my camera, but I was able to snap a picture of all the trucks with my cell phone camera:
