December Xcursion - Xmas light parade Dec 11th
« on: November 16, 2010, 10:59:05 AM »
In the past we have decorated our X's and did a parade of lights over by the Phoenix Zoo.  I've got a new rack that will be decorated in LED Xmas lights this year.  Would be cool to get the X's together again for this annual event.  Who's up for this?? I was thinking about either Dec 4th or Dec 11th.  What dates work for you?

EDIT:  Date is December 11th.

We will meet at Tempe Marketplace at 5:00pm, and start the parade of lights to the Phoenix Zoo at 6:00pm.  After the parade, I'll head back to Tempe Marketplace for some food and an iced tea or two.  Would love to see some AZXC folks out there.

Dec 11th would work best here. I have my company party on the 4th.

Ditto for the 11th.  I work a half day that day.  I may have to see if Mrs. Critchley has anything planned though, so penciled in.

The date is set:  Dec 11th.  We will meet at Tempe Marketplace at 5:00pm, and start the parade of lights over to the Phoenix Zoo at 6:00pm.  It would be great to have a good turnout for this event.  After the parade, I'll be heading back to Tempe Marketplace for some grub and an iced tea or two.

Who is with me on this Xcursion?

I've got most of my truck decorated and ready to go for the light parade.  I just need to buy another string of lights (or two) for the rear bumper / hatch / ladder.

Here are a few pics from earlier tonight:

This obviously doesn't have that much interest.  I'm still heading out there next Saturday.  Might be a parade of one, but so be it.

See ya tonite!

PS Where do you want to meet up!??? That place is huge!

Probably meet in the parking lot on the north side of the complex (just like we did 2 years ago).  North side a little east of center (if that makes sense).

^^It was fun, and it was great seeing you, Joannie, and the kids.

Hopefully next year we'll get a third truck - LOL.

Braedon had his B-day party last night.  Linda is feeling terrible after her surgery.  I kinda wanted to stay close to home.  Oh, and I am sure I am 95 of those 116 reads.  LOL.   ;D
