  • PitSnipe (Kyle): Wow, I have not heard of this issue. 15 hour job for a $50 part is nuts. Hopefully someone that knows of this issue will speak up.

  • downs44: Got an 06 that just went through SMOD. Got everything replaced. Now my low oil pressure light is flickering on after the engine warms up and the truck is at idle. Doing some digging on the forums it looks like a common problem is the rear timing cover gallery gasket leaking and causes the symptoms. Looks like a 15 hour or so repair for a $50 part. Was wondering if anyone else has had this issue and any words of advise. To save some dialogue, the oil pressure sensor is about a year old and I changed the oil and filter after i noticed the light and that did not fix the issue.

March 12th - AZXC Chili Cookoff - Encanto Park
« on: February 06, 2011, 09:56:03 PM »
It's time again for the annual AZXC Chili Cookoff (5th annual, IIRC).

Saturday March 12th at Encanto Park - 15th Ave and Thomas.  I'll be there by 9:00 to try to secure a good spot.

I've got plates, spoons, and napkins from the TM cleanup.  The chili has been eaten (potluck at work).  I'm still deciding if I'll actually enter the competition, or maybe bring something else (either a side dish or maybe dessert) instead.

Bump for the 5th Annual AZXC Chili Cookoff.  This is one of our best attended events each year.  Let's see some new faces and some familiar ones, too.  Enter into the Chili cookoff or bring a dish to pass.  It should be a great time.

People are reading this thread, that is a good thing, but so far, it's just me, Adam, Robert, and maybe Tim.  Anyone else plan on heading out to the chili cookoff?

I should be able to make it, even though I am not a fan of chili, I will probably  stop by and say hello.
