Hello,

Yep same ol same ol...

Camp just out of Flagstaff Friday night the 5th or at end camp Friday night the 5th, your choice.  Depends on how many trucks we have, to have people along the course.    Directions to come for any newbies.

Everyone camps at end camp just inside the forest by Tusayan (South Rim) hit me at stone@orbitelcom.com if you have any more q's.

BUT DOGS MUST MUST MUST be leashed AT ALL TIMES.  THis has been a big problem in the past.

Thanks,

Stone

No worries Tracon will be on a leash when outside.  We should start figuring out who is caravanning from PHX on Friday the 5th and at what time.  See where everyone is camping as well.

So what's the route for the run? This'll be my first year going. Should be a lot of fun. Anybody bringing family/kids?

We'll have an extra seat. The whole family's coming up, but my wife can fit in the backseat between the kids' carseats if need be.

So I got pretty bored and was curious so I did this in Google Earth... I did it backwards though since I had found end camp first and already started the path... There were a couple spots where Google Earth didn't have roads that follow the topo PDFs, but you can kinda see the pathways when you zoom in close.

Okay, seems like THIS year I will make it! I won't be able to join for the 2pm caravan, but will still aim to join you all Friday evening.

End Camp dinner on Friday.....Anyone want to pitch in funds for some sausages?

Thinking about going to the Pork Shop ASAP before they close for the rest of the summer.

Let me know soon as i am not sure on their close date....

If you are camping at end camp, Bill Gow said he has us covered for food.  I need to get him a head count.  And I have no idea what he has in mind for food.  He is in charge of the Sat night dinner for everyone...

Unfortunately, I won't know where I'm camping until Friday afternoon (Aug 5th).  It all depends on when I can leave work...

That is awfully nice of them.   My friend Matt and I will be at end camp on Friday.

I will be checking with the CFO to see what kind of funds we will be able to donate, and also plan on buying some raffle tickets, I want to win the bicycle bell......... ;D
