Four Peaks / Sugarloaf Cleanup - Nov 5th, 2011
« on: October 02, 2011, 08:42:13 PM »
Hey everyone, I know we don't have "official" Xcursions every month, but I'd like to propose that the November Xcursion is at the Four Peaks / Sugarloaf Cleanup on November 5th, 2011.

This year's cleanup is brought to you by the good folks at Copperstate4Wheelers.  The meeting spot for the cleanup is on Four Peaks Road (it is approx. 1/2 mile in from the intersection of SR-87 and Four Peaks Road.  The cleanup goes from 8am - 3pm.

I still have a bunch of bags from the last cleanup at TM, so I'll bring those.  I'll also bring my trailer, so we can haul the trash back to the dumpsters.

It would be great to see all the AZXCers out there.  We have always had a good showing at the Four Peaks cleanups, and it would be cool to have another good showing this year.

Is anyone from AZXC going to this cleanup?  I'll be out there, and Fangars is sponsoring it.  Anyone else coming out?

Unfortunately, that falls on my weekend to work.  In fact, every clean up has fallen on my weekend to work.  I would be there if it didn't.

My X is having issues with front alignment/tire feathering/suspension/hopefully nothing else that I will need to address very soon. So I don't think I'll be able to come out.

I had hoped to make it out there, but this is the only Saturday I have left to get things moved outta my condo & fix my Xterra for Sudnay when I go out to TM to help open Collateral Damage for use once again.

Get CD open Tim.  I want to wheel that.  I rode as a passenger once so wheeling it should be fun.

I am gonna do my best to make it, but work is kicking my rear end as of now.

2 meetings that I have to chair next week, and my presentations aren't even complete...go figure.  Maybe I spend to much time on the boards instead of working.  ;D

Depends how tomorrow goes at work will dictate if I can come out and help!

Looks like this might be the last weekend we will be here so if all goes well we will be there. Ted is there a meeting spot before we get up there?

sorry I missed this.  The truck was down, and I had to spend time fixing it.  Thanks to those who made it out there!

It was perfect out there, just cool enough so you never over heat picking up trash and hauling it to the pile.
No rain, just cool weather.

Perfect November day.
