Thank you to those that reached out and visited while I was in the hospital. I still have a long way to go, but I will be back on the trails soon.

Any idea of a meeting place or time? Gotta get the mini-me up and fed and make the trek from Tucson. Hopefully not feeling TOO bad from the night before...

We always try to make sure there is all the information included in the First Post of a Xcursion or Meeting Thread to be able to find the location and to know all the pertinent information.

Ben, the best place for you to meet is at Price Road just north of the McDonald's in Florence on the east side of the highway. No sense driving past that into to Gold Canyon just to drive back to it. There is a big parking area off to the right on Price Rd, I'd suggest just meeting everyone there.

Yeah, I was looking at the map and it's a ways back towards Phx. Price Rd turnoff it is for me! I remember seeing that road on the way to the deployment return camping trip @ Montana Mt last winter.

After reading on thenewX, I felt compelled to write it here:

This run crosses State Trust Land, and a current AZ State Trust Land permit is needed to legally use these trails.  See this link for more information:  http://www.land.state.az.us/programs/natural/recreation_permit.htm

AZXC follows all the rules no matter what trails we are on:  State Trust Land, US Forest Service Roads, and BLM lands.  We are in good standing with all those organizations, and we are a Member Club that sponsors TreadLightly!  With this in mind, EVERYONE on this run should have a current AZ State Trust Land permit.

I called, there is no electronic one, online or anything, the only 2 ways to get it is mail in a check with application or get permit at the Phoenix office same day. They did say about a week turn around time through the mail so you may get it if it's mailed today or tomorrow. I will be getting mine next week at the office.

I am also a Maybe... Need to get a radio and a permit... if i can get it all lined up the wife and i will attend...

Can i pay dues on that date or do i need to pay dues prior?
