Wife wouldn't let me run out with the camera at 2am last night to catch lightening.  Shame - damn stuff was so close it kept me awake anyway, so I might as well have been out with the camera :)

ripped through Surprise last night and woke me at 11:30. Awesome light and sound display, and I couldn't see the house across the way for a while as the rain was so heavy..
(more please..)

Monsoon clouds die down as we drove out east, all the real action was happening in the west valley.
