  • Conundrum: Wow, with all the rain I've been in as well as flooding in the X on Fat Tire, I have a new issue. Set light blinking rapidly and goes away after restarting the engine. I did a little research and I guess the cruise actuator can get nasty and seems plausible since I went through a puddle on purpose on the right hand side and that made the set light for cruise start flashing again. I'll check it out after the rain stops. lol Have fun and be safe out there everyone.

Ok we have a couple options for Feb:

Let me know what you guys are thinking.  I hear that the RattleSnake Canyon run is pretty epic!

Depending on who comes, we could attempt to defeat Copper Canyon... Haha. Lots of little trails up Redington Pass, Buehman Canyon, Chiva Falls, Chimney Rock. Oracle Control road will be closed, but don't wanna camp @ 8,000+ ft elevation in February anyway.. Brrrr.

What's Copper Canyon? Chivo Falls is a good one, but some folks here have no-so-fond memories of that trail.

Tim, Copper Creek I meant to say, just east of Mammoth, AZ. First part is tame. Bumpy and scenic. Heads up to an old mining area with lots of side trails. Lots of places for you to do some crawling! Road splits off and you can loop back to Mammoth, head up the side trails, or try to make it to the Castle. That part is rated a 7 unknown to me and Marcin when we tried it when he was stock and before I had my spacer lift... We got a little ways in, but bangin frame and skids. Pretty fun trail though, and I STILL want to see the Castle! Dangit!!!

We are going to find that Castle, if it means Tim will winch us all up LOL  :o

Places for you to play Tim!

Look at Marcin and his stock truck! I think this was only like a month or two after you bought it?

Ah of course! Mammoth. My circle of crawlers just refers to that area as Mammoth. There are 'trails' called portal to hell, last crusade, and 7 sisters. Always wante to see those trails, but parts are way outta my league unless another crawler/buggy is with.

I'll be there though and will no doubt give it the ol college try!!!!

Ok here is an idea for Feb, that I will throw out there.  The SCCX guys are planning a Rattlesnake Canyon run 2nd or 3rd week in Feb, would anyone be interested in attending this with those guys.  I hear this is a run not to pass up!

Interested in the joint run with SCCX.  The 3rd week in Feb would work better for me, but I could probably do either weekend.

Really only 2 votes?  Guess everyone is indifferent and will be coming out to CA for that run then!
