  • PitSnipe (Kyle): Wow, I have not heard of this issue. 15 hour job for a $50 part is nuts. Hopefully someone that knows of this issue will speak up.

  • downs44: Got an 06 that just went through SMOD. Got everything replaced. Now my low oil pressure light is flickering on after the engine warms up and the truck is at idle. Doing some digging on the forums it looks like a common problem is the rear timing cover gallery gasket leaking and causes the symptoms. Looks like a 15 hour or so repair for a $50 part. Was wondering if anyone else has had this issue and any words of advise. To save some dialogue, the oil pressure sensor is about a year old and I changed the oil and filter after i noticed the light and that did not fix the issue.

Installed the Xoskel Glare Shields for my Hellas

And some shovel/axe mount that I got from T-Ray!

Changed my oil and in the process repainted my Rad and engine skids.  Oh not to mention dropped the engine skid on my nose!  Ouch!!!!

I added air to my tires, changed my oil, washed it and vacuumed the inside.    ;D

Have done a few things since the Xmas party (not that anyone could see it there due to stealthiness & darkness). You'll see it all on the 1st....

Yes I did and they hold up great.  4 rivets per glare shield.

That's sweet. I will have to add those to my Xoskel list. I need to get those soon but cash was short last month lol.

Sold the superchips cortex and ordered a scan gauge for the truck.  139.99 on Amazon, but if you go on thinkgeek.com and sign up for their newsletter you can save an additional 5 bucks!

Installed the ScanGauge II in my truck.  Took my Xoskel sliders to Fangar's (thanks John, and if you doubt how well these sliders perform just ask John what he saw when we took mine off today!) to get them trimmed back for the TS, and lubed up my rear leaks they were squeaking and making funny noises bad.

Oh man...Today was productive... I painted my entire roof rack flat black. I got HID's for my headlights and fogs. Painted some more of the trim plastics black. Cut a chickenwire grill piece and painted it black for lower opening of my bumper...

Good day.

I gave the X a good scrubbing for the first time since before CANVAZ... I need to polish it BAD. Looks like a went through an auto carwash but the spinning brushes were made out of tree branches.

Throw some more mud on it and it will cover up the scratches!
