Hello
« on: July 03, 2009, 09:17:55 PM »
I just wanted to post up and say hello.  My name is Brian.  My familyand I just relocated to AZ via PA.  We live in Goodyear right now.  I'm the original owner of a 2000 Denim Blue SE 4x4.  I've been around the Xterra club scene for a while now.  I'm actually the founding member of the West PA Xterra Club (www.westpaxterraclub.com), I'm sure some of you have had conversations with Dana (aka Powerguy37 on XOC) from the club.  My X is pretty modded with a 3" SL, 2" BL, 33" tires, ARB with Mile Marker winch, custom fab'd rear spare tire carrier bumper, shrock sliders, and Black Panther skids.  However I haven't been out wheeling for a few years now.  My wife and I had our first child 20 months ago and we've just not had the time to get out to the trails.  So right now it's a glorified and well equipped grocery getter!!

We are still getting settled in to the rental and are actively searching for a house to buy in the West Valley.  We are looking forward to coming to a meeting or joining you guys on an Xcursion.  The WPaXC was a great place to meet people as I have made a lot of friends that way.  I hope to do the same with the AZXC.

Here's a pic of me and my X at the East Coast Xterra Challenge in 2006.

Pay no attention to the poster above.. He has neither an X, nor hair as depicted in his avatar.  :P
Welcome to AZ Brian, where you don't have to pay to wheel, only to repair the good times you've had. Definitely try to schedule Fat Tire (weekend of Aug8th) Not much wheeling, but a great intro to the local mob..
I got your "Jeep thing", now it burns when I pee..

Thanks for the warm welcome (no pun intended)!

DZRT GRL, I'm not sure what a nuke is so I'll answer no for now.  I see you also ride the 2 wheel mode of transport.  I'm a Harley guy myself.

We'll definitely try to make it out for this Fat Tire thing.  Is this something I could bring the kid to?
