  • downs44: Got an 06 that just went through SMOD. Got everything replaced. Now my low oil pressure light is flickering on after the engine warms up and the truck is at idle. Doing some digging on the forums it looks like a common problem is the rear timing cover gallery gasket leaking and causes the symptoms. Looks like a 15 hour or so repair for a $50 part. Was wondering if anyone else has had this issue and any words of advise. To save some dialogue, the oil pressure sensor is about a year old and I changed the oil and filter after i noticed the light and that did not fix the issue.

Xterra Art Project
« on: November 14, 2012, 10:46:46 PM »
Hi everybody! ;D

I had a brainstorm this evening for an awesome photoshop project, but I'm missing something important. Would anyone be willing to send me a high res action shot of their X? I'm needing a really cool looking X lifted and with big tires, preferably the shot kind of looking down at the X as it's reaching the summit of a rocky hill with the desert in the background. Kind of a tall order, but I think we have plenty of places like that around here lol!

Any high res shot at all though I'd consider if I can align it properly! If you don't have anything yet, maybe on an upcoming wheeling trip you wouldn't mind grabbing me a shot? Oh, and by high res I don't mean anything crazy, just something around 1200x1200 pixels or bigger maybe?

Thanks a lot, I appreciate it! ;D

Alright so first off a little disclaimer: This wasn't solicited or anything like that. I just kind of got this brain storm for an awesome custom cookie cutter, some poster edging, and cutouts.

I'm not entirely happy with it yet, but this is what came out of that whole brainstorm event thing:

So nothing may ever come of this besides having something in my portfolio, but if anyone has any suggestions let me know! ;D

cool art work, that could make a nice print or even a screen print for clothing,  cool idea.

Thanks a lot! ;D

I've been toying with it a little since then, and right now I'm leaning more towards something more zoomed in on the prominent X even though it cuts out the one in the background, and a little less cartoony.

It takes me a while before I'm happy with a design ;D
