  • PitSnipe (Kyle): Wow, I have not heard of this issue. 15 hour job for a $50 part is nuts. Hopefully someone that knows of this issue will speak up.

  • downs44: Got an 06 that just went through SMOD. Got everything replaced. Now my low oil pressure light is flickering on after the engine warms up and the truck is at idle. Doing some digging on the forums it looks like a common problem is the rear timing cover gallery gasket leaking and causes the symptoms. Looks like a 15 hour or so repair for a $50 part. Was wondering if anyone else has had this issue and any words of advise. To save some dialogue, the oil pressure sensor is about a year old and I changed the oil and filter after i noticed the light and that did not fix the issue.

Rev, I know this may be a stretch and dont get me wrong the most recent design is great and I/we appreciate the work you have done and time spent, but any way the tires could be made into an offroad tire design, MT style or something?

Details, details, I know!

Dude, I am happy with it but the time is now to fix/tweak things, any and every design presented on this thread can be voted on, so vote for what you like best. I just figure if small details can make it that much better, why not, the time is now to do that, prior to the meeting/vote.

Can you add some pin stripping to the trucks as well? Itll be more realistic.

Dont be a smart ass Marcin. You have your opinions and I have mine, neither are right or wrong, but it seems to be your way or no way more often than not, which is not the idea of being a club and a majority vote.

If you guys want to keep this going, then hell might as well add a rear tire carrier too.

Not being a smart ass but also know how much work goes into putting a design like that together and know that the details may not all show up on a sticker.  That being said constantly asking for silly little changes and not appreciated or taking into consideration the time that went into a project is rude.  That is why I called you out.

So who is in for the pin striping mts ruts and spray from dirt?

What are you talking about? Did you read my post? I said how much I/we appreciate the design and time spent. You dont think a MT tire design would look nice, make it that much better and show in a sticker? Well I think your mistaken, you may think its a SILLY LITTLE CHANGE but I do not, again my opinion and yours are different. If he cannot do it or is worn out with changing then he can state that, its not a demand, its a question/suggestion/request, if he doesnt want too, then thats fine I have no problem with that.

I take no qualms over feedback in the comments box. That's what it's there for ;D

Also no guarantee is written or implied in regards to our commitment to expedite product release ;D Sometimes I have time and inspiration to kick stuff out, sometimes I don't.

Sometimes someone will lay out this big grand thing in front of me and I just can't seem to do anything with the idea. Other times someone will make a quick silly comment which then for some reason gives me the nudge to make something huge. Hard to tell when that will happen.

I also agree that details really do make a difference. In my sig for instance, the truck moving across the desert just didn't look right without kicking up some dirt. I couldn't find any dirt splatters that looked good and that I could animate out. So the animated dirt that I ended up using is actually the smoke from Sonic the Hedgehog's spin attack from a Sonic 2 sprite sheet that I just recolored brown ;D

Thanks for all the great feedback on my work so far, I'm glad you guys are liking the way it looks!
