I could do Thursday night if that is possible.  My work goes from 1845-0715.  Since I get up at 1600 it is nearly impossible for me to do anything before work.

Well I tuned in 6940 and tried a couple of others and nothing came in.  I might be doing something wrong or there isn't any traffic.

Probably no traffic. Listen for a couple hours, listen for the repeater to ID itself.
Try listening to the Thunderbird repeater (146.700) which is on the John C Lincon Hospital. I've heard nets there. Look them up on Google and check out that club. They have a net, see what time that is and tune in then. If you get really ambitious, see if you can find clubs associated with the repeaters and then look at the club website. I wonder if the Ham 4x4 Club has a repeater...

Hey everyone.. we're a returning team two gen 1 solar yellows called.... 'XTonka' and now. 'XTonka2'.. my husband and I are both hams'.. I just got my license a few weeks ago. For studying I used http://www.hamtestonline.com/study.jsp?action=1fl49fiws72v. Tests are current and free as well. I had studied prior using the big books (pain) but once I was able to pass the test consistently at above 80% I knew I was ready.

I'm now KIZMDK.. but thinking of getting a vanity so.. we'll see  ;)

I've been studying and I'm not getting a consistent score but hitting over 80%, I'm pushing for higher.
