AZXC Meeting Minutes for 2009
March Meeting minutes
Special thanks goes out to
Wally and First Class Autobody for hosting the meeting.
Attending were: Preston (PHXX), Victor, Brenda, Wally, Lucky13, T-Ray, AZ-Ted, Joe and Amber, John, Adam (Conundrum)
Treasury Balance prior to Dues collection was $417, Minus Pizzas, Plus 50/50 Scavenger of $20, Plus Dues from Ted, Adam, Victor, Tim, Joe, Wally, Brenda. Preston Bought a shirt too. We now stand with a total of $585 including Cash on hand.
Chili Cookoff Recap with bragging
rights to Conundrum for 1st and then in order Ty, Joe, Tim,
Scott, Georgie and RJCX with a last minute entry after
everyone was full.
DCB Triathlon will not be the normal
this year, but instead DCB is holding the First Ever Mud
Run, 6 Miles of Muck and AZXC gets to man a FireHose.
For the First time, the club has
decided while supplies last to give with this years
membership the choice of one of the remaining XL and L
shirts or a sticker. Show up to the next meeting to pay your
dues and make your choice while they last.
ASU Athletics Volunteering is coming up again and it paid off huge for the Club in the past, if you can spare some time.
Victor Proposed the first ever ModWash where the proceeds from a car wash for donations, will go toward the winner of a drawing to put toward modification of their X. Details to be worked out.
Ted is volunteering for the BLM Table Mesa Staging area build. Thanks!
Joe was Voted in as a new Member of AZXC. Congratulations!
50/50 Drawing turned into a surprise
emergency preparedness test which Preston won decisively.
Brenda spoke of her upcoming trip to Peoples Valley area and invited members to tag along..
February Meeting Minutes

Tim (T-Ray), Vice President - Wally (Onix) and Secretary/Treasurer -
Adam (Conundrum) Introducing a new position as Historian is

Discussion of the success of the 2nd Annual 4
Peaks Cleanup.
Chili Cookoff Xcursion discussion for March 7th
2009 at Surprise Community Park.
The Desert Triathlon will not be held this year
and in it's place will be the 1st Annual MUD Run.
March Meeting will be held at First Class
AutoBody on the Third Friday, the 20th 2009.
AZBumblebee (Harry) will be researching
information about the Disabled Explorers Support Run in May.
Discussion of the August Fat Tire event.

Voted in our Newest Member Brenda (DZRT GRL).
A vote of Yes to Have our Meetings on the 3rd
Friday of the Month and the Xcursions on the 1st Saturday of Each
Month.
Reimbursement of Conundrum in the Updating our
Web Hosting to 5 Years to Match our URL Forwarding for 5 years.
