Meeting Minutes from Friday the 21st of October at Peoria Nissan.

  • Welcomed David D'Amato, a 2005 Xterra owner from Casa Crande!
  • There were 8 attending Members, plus Family.

  • Current ballance $N/A, Shirts are for sale for $14, and now are first come first serve. There will be a link posted on the club website to order shirts using Paypal Service.

  • Raffled off several items to some lucky winners.

August Meeting minutes

  • Here is a brief summary of the Meeting on the 12th of August at Peoria Nissan.
  • Bit of a poor turn out at yesterdays meeting. We had a laugh discussing last weekends jaunt.
  • 2Xplore (Ty & Brenda) were voted in last night. Welcome to the club, nice to have you guys with us.
  • The September xcursion was discussed, I believe Gabe is going to create a poll with several options for members to vote on. Mentioned were FR300, 4 Wheeling near Flag / Sedona and 4 wheeling closer to home to save on gas.
  • Grn-X is going to need to change his nickname now to Slvr-H3 or something similar. Mike showed up with his new H3 and it was admired by all.

  • Here is a brief summary of the Meeting on the 15th of July at Peoria Nissan.
  • Meeting began at 7:20pm
  • Current Funds: $679.41

  • Big thanks to Ryan (AetherX) for printing the club T-shirts.
  • Shirts will go on sale for $14.00 a piece as of next Friday. If you need a shirt before the next club meeting, arrangements can be made with Dan (Dbax).
  • Business cards are also running out, so they will be ordered as soon as the graphics are provided to the printer.

  • July Xcursion information. It is Jillian's on July 24th @ 1:30.
  • The August Xcursion is going to be Fat Tire Bike Ride Event. Special thanks to Marshal for his presentation covering the event. **Don't forget about Insurance Forms**
  • Swanky has cordially invited AZXC to attend a Night Run on July 30th.
  • The website is due to expire this month, and our new hosting will be held with Godaddy.com. A notification will be sent out when the website will be down for the transition.
  • September, October, and November do not yet have Final Xcursion plans. A post will be created for Suggestions and Ideas.
  • In October, Marshal is holding a Halloween Costume Party. All are invited to attend.

    • June Meeting minutes

  • Here is a brief summary of the Meeting on the 10th of June at Peoria Nissan.
  • Current Funds: $644.41
  • Mike Major (Grn-X) officially resigned as the club secretary/treasurer due to his tentative future military plans. Preston Rutherford (Phxx) has voted in by the club members to fulfill the duties of club secretary/treasurer.
  • As of this meeting, Rodger (Rinky) was eligible for nomination, and was voted into the club as an official member.
  • Due to the Bartlet lake area trails being closed down for approximately a year due to fire damage, we need to think about and look into adopting a new trail temporarily for our bi-yearly clean up. A place suggested to look into this was The Bureau of Land Management.
  • Because of the trail FR532 being closed down, our Xcursion for the Month was changed to Sedona Broken Arrow.
  • Club T-Shirts will no longer be ordered from the internet. They will be ordered & printed locally, this process will be handled by Gabe. Shirts are planned to be ready by the July Meeting.
  • Dan (D-Bax) is taking care of the New AZXC Decals.
  • The Xterra Triathlon (April Xcursion) T-Shirts that where specially ordered, where handed out during this meeting. The only size left is XL . If you did not receive one, and would like one, Contact Gabe.
  • 50/50 Raffle was won by our new member Rodger (Rinky)! He won a total of $9.
  • Meeting was adjourned at 8:00p.m. and some of us went to Fudruckers for Dinner

    • April Meeting minutes

  • Here is a brief summary of the Meeting on the 15th of April at Peoria Nissan. We had a great turn out for the meeting, Peoria Nissan provided us with Mexican food from Mayacos Restaurant. As well as Sodas, BIG THANKS GOES OUT TO THEM, They have been a very great host.
  • 7:20P.M. the meeting was called to Order and GBizzle went over the minutes from the last meeting.
  • ADMINISTRATIVE NOTES: Discussed the treasury and the balance of the club funds. It was motioned and received a second to open a new account and close the old account and just transferring the funds into the new account from the old account. One final attempt will be made to switch the account information prior to closing the old account.
  • NEW MEMBERS: Congratulations goes out to our clubs newest members SoldierX and Defibvts. They were both voted in and were eager to pay their club dues for the 05 season.
  • ALSO: New members JEFF and Kim Showed up for the meeting and It was great to see them, they own a 01 Just Blue 4x4 SE. We look forward to voting them in at the next meeting also.
  • T-SHIRTS: It was voted on and agreed to get the T-shirts done using the new X-logo with the back having the URL and the graphics and the front having a Arizona Xterra Club on the breast pocket area. Shirts will be white with black print. Many want to turn them into Sedona Dirt Shirts and a run will be planned in the future to do that. It was also brought up to keep the graphic in black and possibly have Yellow, Red, Tan and grey Heather, shirts also available if they can be gotten at the same price as white. More to follow soon on this issue.
  • It was motioned and voted on to transfer the website to GO Daddy.Com for a reduced rate and to relieve the burden of hosting from the old members and XTASY and NOSUP4U have taken on the role of the new website administrators.
  • MAY: meeting dates and Xcursion for the month of May was discussed and dates have been posted on the AZXC website home page. We are Camping out up in Prescott area Panning for Gold at Conundrums Claim.
  • MOAB MINUTES: DBAX purposed a meeting of the moab attending folks to work out logistics and to coordinate efforts to reduce equipment taken and to streamline the trip which is May 27th through June 2nd.
  • JUNE IDEAS: It was brought up to do a water park possibly for June's xcursion. Also was brought up that Pontoon boats are available at a extremely discounted rate that we could get a couple of them and go to the Colorado river near Parker for the weekend to Fish and Party. More to Follow on this, Members were encouraged to post their ideas as to vote on it at May's meeting.
  • CROWN KING PRE RUN: it was brought up and agreed that we would do a Pre Run of the Crown King trail due to the fact it had been closed because of all the rain. The date for this Run was tentatively set for Saturday MAY 8th.
  • A WORD ABOUT OUR SPONSOR: DBAX showed members of the club some comparison saving they members of the club receive by using PEORIA NISSAN'S Part Dept. they saving were 30% over the competition making them a great resource for Club Members.
  • CLOSING MESSAGE FROM THE PREZ: Parting memo's were given and it was agreed that the 50/50 drawing would be postponed until the May's meeting.
  • MEETING ADJOURNED: 8:40 PM where all the member gathered out at the parking lot in front of the dealership where we lined up the 12 Xterra's on hand in front for a photo opportunity. We also had a 05 Xterra and Frontier to check out,
  • XTASY and RINKY: Took some great photos that they will be posting up shortly.

    • March Meeting minutes

  • Special thanks goes out to Pinnacle Nissan for hosting the meeting along with the snacks.
  • Allocations of funds: A motion raised and seconded to pay for the Web Site hosting. A motion was raised and seconded to use club funds to provide drinks at the meeting and Xcursions such as some bottled water and soft drinks.
  • T-Shirts: A motion and seconded that the club will be making the new AZXC club shirts with a screen then colored naturally with Sedona Dirt (IE our own version of the Sedona Dirt Shirts). Bring any ideas you have to the next meeting or email Gabe with the details.
  • Stickers will also be produced using either an updated version of the Copper State design from previous years or a new one. If you have an idea of what you would like to see the new sticker look like, email Gabe with the details. We will be voting on the final version in future meetings, so do not delay in getting your thoughts to Gabe.
  • Future events: The dates for the April/May/June meetings were set along with a tentive location. The dates/events for the May/June Xcursions were also set. A July Xcursion was also discussed with a "Special water event" being thrown around. We are also planning on doing the Fat Tire Toys for Tots Bike Ride in August.
  • Membership dues were also paid by all attending. If you have not paid your club dues for the year. Please contact Grn-X to find out how to pay your dues.
  • 50/50 drawing went to Roo (Son of Grn-X) for $28.
  • Dbax won a set of front seat covers, Conundrum won the Rear seat Cover. Both were donated by Pinnacle Nissan.

    • February Meeting minutes

  • Special thanks goes out to Peoria Nissan for hosting the meeting along with the Pizza & soda.
  • Voted in two new members Tomás (Xtasy) and Adam (Conundrum).
  • New Officers for 2005 will be President - Gabe (GBizzle), Vice President - Dan (DBAX) and Secretary/Treasure - Mike (Grn-X)
  • A vote of Yes to change membership dues to be due in March each year, and prorated quarterly the remaining part of the year.
  • 50/50 drawing went to Tomás (Xtasy) for $78.
  • A great set of Nismo Bronze 16" Alloy Rims were won by Dan (DBAX). The rims were donated by Peoria Nissan and are valued at $437 each.
  • Assorted members also won some great shirts/hats from Nissan/Tire Pros.
  • Peoria Nissan showed us a Presentation from Nissan about the 2005 Xterra.
