Grand Canyon Xcursion
Grand Canyon is one of the premier
destinations on planet Earth. It is a
land of deep gorges, majestic forests, rushing streams and
rivers. It is
one of the world's natural wonders, attracting millions
of visitors from all
over the world- although the average visit only lasts a
few hours.
The Canyon has never been invaded....
Until Now!
Join AZXC as we spend a weekend at the
big hole showing off the beauty of
the Xterra.
2-wheel drives- 4 wheel drives: Whatever! There's nothing
we'll be doing
that a 2-wheel drive can't do. Let's get 15 Xterra's there!
This isn't a crazed 4 wheelin' Xcursion-
it will be on forest roads. There
will be side roads and hills to explore for some challenges,
if you need to
test the X.
This a chance for ALL Xterra owners to get together and
experience the
history and excitement of the Grand Canyon while having
a blast with other
Xterra Owners.
If you have an Xterra- You should go!
If you haven't been on an Xcursion lately- You should go!
If you've never been to the Grand Canyon- You gotta go!
Here's the plan for the X invasion:
Friday- 1st Wave meet at am/pm on Deer
Valley off of I-17 at 5pm - Head to
Ten X campground to camp for the night. Bonfire, fun and
fellowship.
Saturday-
1st wave Get up and watch the sun rise over the Grand
Canyon and
wait for others to arrive.
2nd wave departs am/pm on Deer Valley off of I-17
at 7am. Head to Ten X
campground. Drop off camping gear.
The whole group takes off on Grandview
Lookout trail- down some switchbacks
to Hull cabin trail; Tourist trip through Grand Canyon Village
and swoop
back around to Ten X campground.
Group cookout with all of the fixin's-
Sunday- Group breakfast; Some people can
head home, some people can explore
on their own.

campsite. Once we know exactly who's going, we'll get to
work on the Group cookout.
