Mingus Mountain Family Campground

First Come, First Served

Located in the pines at an elevation of about 7,500 feet and atop Mingus Mountain, this campground offers the visitor a scenic vista and relatively cool summertime temperatures. On a clear day the scenic overlook, located near the camping facilities, offers a spectacular view of the Verde Vally. There is a $10 a night fee for each site. This campground does not have any Recreational Vehicle hookups, dumpstations or shower facilities.

A campground host is available to provide information and to assist visitors in locating suitable camping sites. The campground is open from May 1 through September 30 depending on weather. This campground has been upgraded with new toilets, additional campsites, and water supply.
